Over the three days there will be time for more in-depth discussions of value (light and dark), color and composition in paintings. We will work from reference photos for both paintings.

Day one we will paint a 10x8 painting using only two colors plus white (Supplies for this day will be provided no added charge).

Day Two and Three, we will work on a larger canvas board 14x11. During these two days we will determine the best composition for our paintings, explore color mixing more fully including determining values and the difference between value and color in painting.
