Classes - Winter/Spring 2026
There are two ways to register for a class.
Method 1: Click on the "Buy Now" button beside each class.
Method 2: Contact Home Coming Art Studio at 609-579-4412 or homecomingartstudio@comcast.net. After contacting the studio, an invoice will be emailed to you for the entire cost of the class or a deposit, depending on the cost of the class. Payment can be made check, credit card or cash. Payment must be received within 2 weeks to hold the registration for the class.
Upon registering, students will receive a welcome email with further details about the class. Cancellations made prior to 30 days before the class will receive a full refund.


Beginning Weaving
Instructor: Annette Devitt
Date: Saturday & Sunday, March 14 & 15
OR April 25 & 26
Time: 9:00 am-4:00 pm
Cost: $180
All materials included. A set of supplies will be available to use for the class.
In this two-day class, students will learn basic weaving skills such as reading a draft, planning a weaving project, preparing the loom, and weaving. Leave the class with a hand-woven scarf. Adults and teens.

Bookmaking Workshop
Instructor: Linda Jackson
Date: Saturday, March 28
Time: 10 am- 4 pm
Cost: $125
Linda is a book & fiber artist, teacher & author making and teaching book arts for the last ten years. In this workshop we’ll be making 2 - 3 books. Two of them will be small sketchbooks/ journals. The third will be a Coptic Stitch journal/sketchbook. Coptic Stitch is an ancient bookbinding method connecting a group of signatures together with stitching for a book that lies flat and is filled with white sturdy paper for writing, sketching, collage, and/or painting for your personal art journal.

Dye Your Own Warp or Yarn
Instructor: Annette Devitt
Date: Tuesday, March 31
Time: 9:00 am-4:00 pm
Cost: $80
All materials included. A set of supplies will be available to use for the class.
Participants will learn to use a limited palette of dyes for cellulose fibers to create unique warps or yarn. The morning will start with participants making samples of each color. In the afternoon, participants will choose to dye two warps or two skeins of yarn or one of each. Yarn will be 100% cotton and warps will be predominately cotton with possibly rayon as well.


Beginning Watercolor
Instructor: Annette Devitt
Date: Fridays, April 3-24
Time: 10 am - noon
Cost: $100
All materials included. A set of supplies will be available to use for the class.
This class is designed for people who have never touched watercolors before. You will learn about the medium and supplies needed to paint. Students will learn various techniques for using watercolor.

6 Week Watercolor Workshop
Instructor: Yvonne Mucci
Date: Wednesdays starting April 22-May 27
Time: 9:30 am-noon OR 1:00-3:30 pm
Cost: $185
This is an advanced beginner to intermediate watercolor workshop. We’ll cover creating a painting from concept through completion. Each week starts with a short demonstration incorporating techniques for you to use in your own painting. Adults and teens.

Temari Ball - Kiku Diamonds

All materials included. A set of supplies will be available to use for the class.
Learn to mark your ball and how to use a basic stitch for creating a temari ball. The balls are ready for you to start stitching. Choose from a wide range of colors to create your unique ball. Adults and teens.
