You can see my finished weavings and paintings. There is also yarns, books, and finished items from a Third Star Fibre Arts Guild member’s stash. VIRTUAL Home Coming Day
August 15, 2020

Home Coming Art Studio is hosting the second annual Home Coming Day! At the turn of the 20th century, towns in the county held Home Coming Days in the summer. Family and friends would come back to town to enjoy time together. On August 15, I would like to honor that tradition with a virtual gathering. On the studio Facebook page, I plan to have videos of students' work and of things I have been doing including how I make the hand dyed scarves and time-lapse videos of recently completed paintings. I will also have an update on what is happening with the fall schedule of classes.

I am also offering special Home Coming Day Cookies to 20 people who live in Salem County. To be eligible for the cookies, send me a message or an email (homecomingartstudio@comcast.net) with your name, address, and email address by 5:00 pm on August 12. The winners will be randomly selected on August 13 and cookies delivered to your house on August 14 or 15.

Salem County Chamber of Commerce Networking Event
April 25, 2019, 8:00 - 10:00 am
Location - Home Coming Art Studio

Join us for a morning of terrific networking at Home Coming Art Studio, Pennsville. Studio owner and Fiber Artist, Annette Devitt welcomes us with morning coffee and refreshments. This is an opportunity for you and your staff to make new connections within the Salem County business community, and learn more about the products and art lessons offered at Home Coming Art Studio.
As many will remember, Annette Devitt recently retired as the Salem County 4-H Agent with Rutgers Cooperative Extension. Annette parlayed her love of creating fiber arts (weaving, spinning, knitting) and her many years as a member of the Third Star Fibre Artists Guild into her new business.
This event is free compliments of Annette and Home Coming Art Studio, so Chamber Members, their staff and prospective members are all welcome and encouraged to participate. It’s casual, so feel free to drop in anytime between 8:00 -10:00 am, just remember to print plenty of business cards!
